These Terms of Use apply to the Eat The Goat website (www.eatthegoat.com) and to all digital meal-planning services provided (“Services”).
By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services. Users must be 18 years or older.
1. Nature of Services
Eat The Goat provides digital weekly meal plans and shopping lists delivered by email through a recurring monthly subscription (“Membership”). All content is delivered digitally. We do not provide physical products, personalised nutrition services or clinical advice.
2. Health Disclaimer
All content is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical, nutritional or dietary advice.
You should consult a doctor or qualified health professional before starting any new eating pattern, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or take medication.
If you experience any unexpected physical, mental or emotional symptoms while using our Services, seek medical attention immediately.
Results vary between individuals. Testimonials do not guarantee similar outcomes.
3. Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for evaluating whether our Services are suitable for your circumstances. Nutritional estimates, ingredient data and recipe information are guides only and may vary by brand, batch or preparation method.
You acknowledge that using our Services is voluntary and carries inherent risks. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties of fitness for purpose and reasonable care.
4. Memberships, Billing and Cancellations
Membership
• ETG Memberships are monthly, digital subscription products.
• Memberships auto-renew every month until cancelled.
• Fees are charged in advance.
Billing
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• You authorise us to charge your nominated payment method each billing cycle.
• Prices are listed in AUD. ETG is not currently registered for GST.
Cancellations
• You can cancel any time before your next billing date.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No partial refunds are given for unused time or change of mind.
• Digital products are non-refundable once delivered.

Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails, access to new weekly plans may be paused until payment succeeds.
5. Delivery of Services
Weekly plans are delivered by email on your subscription schedule (e.g., Saturdays at 6am). Access requires an active subscription. If you unsubscribe, delivery stops at the end of your paid period.
6. User Accounts
Where required, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• copy, distribute or resell our content;
• share paid content publicly or with non-members;
• upload harmful, unlawful or infringing material;
• attempt to breach Site security;
• misuse, interfere with or disrupt the Site or Services.
We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, recipes, meal plans, branding, images and materials on the Site are owned by or licensed to Eat The Goat. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the content for personal use only.
Reproduction or distribution requires written permission.
9. Third-Party Links and Tools
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, practices or privacy policies. You access third-party sites at your own risk.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Your use of the Site and Services is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law:
• All Services are provided “as is”.
• We exclude all implied warranties except those that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
• Our liability for goods or services not meeting consumer guarantees is limited to replacement, resupply or refund as required by law.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from use of the Site or Services.
If liability cannot be excluded, our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the lesser of AUD$100 or the amount you paid in the previous six months.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Eat The Goat and its officers, employees and contractors for any loss, damage, claim or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site or Services.
12. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to Services or Terms
We may update the Site, Services or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
